At Sugar Rush, Mireya bakes cachitos fresh each morning using the same technique she grew up watching in Venezuela. The pastry is light and crispy on the outside, tender in the center, and the filling stays melted all the way through. They’re best enjoyed warm, ideally with a café con leche.
